ABOUT ZAKS FOUNDATION FOR HUMANITY

Who We Are

Zaks Foundation for Humanity (ZFH) is a registered nonprofit organization committed to alleviating multidimensional poverty and promoting sustainable development among vulnerable populations across Africa. Founded in 2022 and formally registered in 2023, ZFH was established in response to the growing challenges of poverty, hunger, poor healthcare access, educational inequality, and environmental degradation affecting millions of people, particularly women and children living in underserved communities. Our programs focus on delivering practical, community-driven solutions that improve livelihoods, strengthen health systems, increase food security, support education, and promote environmental sustainability.

OUR PROGRAMS

We take a holistic approach to tackling poverty, health challenges, in Nigeria’s most vulnerable communities.

Nutritional Assistance Program (NAP)

The Nutritional Assistance Program provides food support to vulnerable households facing food insecurity. Through monthly food distributions and nutritional support, the program helps reduce hunger and improve household resilience.

Resilience for Agricultural Innovation and Development (RAID)

RAID empowers smallholder farmers through agricultural training, improved inputs, climate-smart farming techniques, and market access opportunities. The program aims to improve food production, increase incomes, and strengthen rural livelihoods.

Community Health for Adolescents and Reproductive Mothers (CHARM)

CHARM supports pregnant women, nursing mothers, and vulnerable children through maternal healthcare, nutrition support, health education, and access to essential healthcare services.

Creating Awareness on Malaria Prevention and Control (CAMP-C)

CAMP-C reduces the burden of malaria through the distribution of Long-Lasting Insecticidal Nets (LLINs), community education, testing, and treatment support.

Feminine Learning Outreach for Wellbeing (FLOW)

FLOW promotes menstrual health and hygiene among adolescent girls and women by providing sanitary materials, health education, and advocacy against menstrual stigma.

Galvanizing Resources for Educating Adolescents and Teachers (GREAT)

GREAT strengthens educational opportunities by supporting school infrastructure, learning resources, water and sanitation facilities, and educational empowerment initiatives.

Liquid Infrastructure for Families and Environment (LIFE)

LIFE improves access to clean water, sanitation, and hygiene services in underserved communities to reduce disease and improve quality of life.

Climate and Hunger Alliance in Planting Trees (CHAPT)

CHAPT promotes environmental sustainability through tree planting campaigns, environmental education, and climate resilience initiatives.
