Every year, as it has become our practice, we embed ourselves with children celebrating Children’s Day, giving them pep talks on different topics. This year, in order to mark World Menstrual Hygiene Day, and against the background that Nigeria shares a burden of 37 million women and girls, 23 percent of whom are school age girls of 15-24 years, going through period poverty, our interaction was on menstrual health hygiene education and sharing menstrual pads as part of our campaign against period poverty. We were at Government Junior Secondary School Nyanya Gbagi, New Nyanya, Nasarawa State. The ZFH team was fully immersed in the activities . Pictures are worth more than a thousand words.
